Newsweek makes a ruckus. Newsweek and the Media Bloggers Association (MBA) have launched " The Ruckus," a new group blog about politics for Newsweek.com. The blog will feature posts from nine MBA-member bloggers about the presidential campaign.

Blue Sky acquires Blogarithm. E-mail marketing service provider Blue Sky Factory has acquried Blogarithm, an online service that connects consumers with the blog and RSS syndicated content they seek via email notification on a permission basis. In May, the company acquired RSSFWD, a provider of RSS to email technology solutions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
